Saturday July 18th from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
Dave is able to make a rare mid-summer appearance and will be
leading this hands-on fly tying class at One More Cast Fly Shop.
Dave will be teaching 3 or 4 of his most
successful mid-to-late summer patterns that are fun to tie and
effective.
Bring your vise and tools, we will provide all of the materials.
This class is strictly limited to ten tyers. The fee for this class
is
$50

3rd Annual Trico/Terrestrial Weekend
Thursday August 6th-Sunday August 9, 2009
Here is a great chance to learn more about
tying Tricos, and pick up on a couple of terrestrial patterns that
may be new to you.

We’ll stay at the warmly inviting Mayfly Lodge overlooking the Bad
Axe River. Fish on you way up if you wish then join us for dinner Thursday night. Early Friday
morning, we'll head out to fish the spinner fall then head back to
the Mayfly for a quick lunch. After lunch, we will have a hands-on fly tying
clinic conducted by Bob Blumreich designed to teach patterns to
match the bugs that day.
 
Nap if you wish, and we will head out
again after dinner. Saturday will be a repeat of Friday's
events and Joseph will teach a couple of patterns after lunch. Sunday, you can fish on your own until you need to head back.
Price is
$395
per person, includes all meals which are BYOB, 3 night’s
accommodations and taxes.

Three days on the Upper Mississippi August 20-23, 2009

One More Cast Fly Shop is hosting our 4th Annual 3-day Float trip on
the Upper Mississippi in Minnesota with Kip Vieth of Wildwood Float
Trips. Travel day is Thursday, August 20 and we will stay at the
spectacular Riverwood Inn in Ostego, MN; have a quick breakfast the
next morning and then head to the river to fish.
We will float 3 days (all-day Friday, Aug. 21, all-day Saturday,
Aug. 22 and half-day Sunday, Aug. 23) on the Upper Mississippi in
Clacka-Craft drift boats for some incredible top water Smallmouth
action.
Bring a fast action 7-8 weight capable of casting BIG poppers, lined
with a Rio Outbound or Clouser taper and perhaps a sink tip fly
line, finger stripping guards, Polarized glasses and a broad brimmed
hat. A selection of LARGE Popping bugs with rubber legs in size 2
and 4, some LARGE (4 inch) Clouser or Murdich minnows, a few large
Woolly Buggers and some stout leaders (7-8 foot 0X), sunscreen,
insect repellant and you’ll be all set.

Cost for this three-day trip is
$995.00
per person, double occupancy, which includes 3 nights lodging and 2
½ days guided float. Single room supplement is an additional
$150.00.
Not included are guide tips, meals other than lunch and Minnesota
